Whatever the journey, no matter the obstacles, when we focus on our achievements, no matter how small and feel truly proud for even trying — we are making progress!!!

So take some time every evening when laying in bed and think about your achievements, the little changes and shifts you’ve accomplished — and even if you haven’t felt any progress yet, be proud of yourself for your persistence, for staying the course, for even trying. It is already progress to just think about a situation or challenge and realize that something has to shift, that something has to change. So that is already the first step, you can be proud of taking — looking at things from a greater or different perspective, to see what needs to change, picturing yourself where you want to be or how you want to live.

Journal, take notes, make a plan — share your plan with someone who supports you, no matter what. Incorporate daily affirmations and routines that will help you get closer to your goals.
