Benefits of Essential Oils to Chefs & Nutritional Coaches
Chefs of many fine restaurants, personal chefs and nutritional coaches have discovered the value of fortifying recipes with digestible, therapeutic grade essential oils. It is an art to create beautiful recipes that are delicious and attractive but at the same time also fortifying and nutritious on many levels. Essential Oils support Chefs in reaching their ultimate goal! Adding just one drop of an essential oil to a dish will elevate the flavor to a new level as well as add health benefits such as increasing antioxidant intake, aiding in the digestive system and the respiratory system, act as a cleansing agent, and generally support health in a variety of ways.
Many Chefs and nutritional coaches not familiar with digestible essential oils may wonder “Why can I cook with these essential oils – most essential oils I know can only be used aromatic or topically?”. The answer lies in the quality of the essential oil and that it has to be approved as GRAS by the FDA (generally regarded as safe for consumption). Another question could be “I’m already using herbs, why should I use the same thing in essential oil form instead?”. The answer to this frequently asked question is because essential oils are so powerful. They are 50-70 times more potent than used in herbal form. Just imagine what that can do in terms of enhancing aroma and flavor as well as in therapeutic value!
Celebrity Chef Craig Chasky, you might know him from the Food Network show “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” and NPR, who has also worked with some of the top names in the industry such as Jacques Pepin, has embraced cooking with essential oils on his culinary venture, now creating dishes that are rich in phytonutrients, spices and fortified with the essential oils listed below.

Essential Oils You Can Add to Water, Smoothies & Other Drinks
My culinary experience of being a Master Chef and graduate of The Culinary Institute of America has taken a turn for the better. Therapeutic grade essential oils that are indeed organic and digestible have allowed me to enhance foods therapeutically and increase the longevity in prepared foods. The results of adding a ” carrier Oil” that increases the “Smoke- Point” creates little or no loss in the potency have in adding value to cuisine. The result is a enhanced product that can “Fortify Oneself” and protect, increase and add longevity to ones lifestyle .
