Teeth grinding and jaw clenching can have many different reasons from injury or misaligned bite, and other dental problems to simply “Tension & Stress”.
If your teeth grinding or clenching is related to the latter, you can try these tips:
Tip 1:
Massage jaw and neck with a blend of Lavender, Frankincense and fractionated coconut oil. Add some Marjoram, my secret ingredient, to offer even more relief! Use a dilution ratio of 3% to 5%. Apply before bedtime and after waking up in the morning.
Tip 2:
Diffuse relaxing essential oils while sleeping such as Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Vetiver or Cedarwood.
Tip 3:
Diffuse stress reducing citrus oils during the day! Pick Wild Orange, Lemon, Lime, Bergamot, or Tangerine or use a drop or two to combine a few scents in your diffuser.
