Negative self-talk is so self-sabotaging. It is one of the main things holding you back from moving forward, holding you back from the change you want to see in your life.
An effective tool that will help you is practicing positive thinking – reframing your thoughts. It will help you move forward, get past challenges, and out of feeling stuck.
Some days are easier than others to form more positive thoughts, I know believe me, but it’s a tool that allows you to gain control and be in control.
For instance, when you are thinking ‘that’s too difficult, I don’t know how to do this’ reframe your thought to ‘I know it’s challenging but it’s also an opportunity to learn something new‘. When your mind says ‘there is no way this will happen for me’ reframe it and say ‘I can try and make this happen’.
Practice self-talk with less self-criticism and more self-acceptance!
Change like this doesn’t happen overnight but when we pay attention to our throughts and notice negative thinking patterns, and you commit yourself to reframing those thoughts in a more positive way, you’ll start seeing and experiencing a shift, it will get easier, and it will help you move forward. Important is making a consistent effort – every day.
For some extra help with having positive thoughts integrate essential oils into your daily habits. You can use Wild Orange Essential Oil and Bergamot essential oil or even Lemon, Lime and Grapefruit essential oils to boost positivity. When you are struggling with irrational fears and worries, add some Juniper Berry essential oil, and for help with getting out of feeling stuck, a drop of Cypress essential oil. Add 1 drop of each essential oil to your palms, rub your hands together to create a little heat, cup your hands 6″ from your face and inhale for a few minutes several times a day.
